27K2788 - Osmo 3125 Blue Wood Wax Intensive Finish, 375ml (12.5 fl oz)
This item is not available for this region.
In common with other Osmo tinted wood wax we carry, this easy-to-apply intensive finish is both a stain and a finish in one formulation. It appears translucent when applied in a single coat; however, a second coat increases opacity and color saturation significantly, such that it is virtually opaque, with only minimal wood grain visible. On its own, it produces a sheen between matte and satin and can be top-coated with Polyx for increased sheen and durability.
A blend of vegetable oils (sunflower and soybean), waxes (carnauba and candelilla) and organically derived pigments, combined with a small amount of low-odor spirit (benzene-free), it has a low environmental impact.
Forgiving to apply, it allows you to use a variety of methods (brush, roller, buffing pad or cloth), and a dust-free environment is not required. You don’t need to sand between coats, which makes future repairs straightforward.
An excellent choice for interior woodwork, Osmo wood wax is hard-wearing and has moderate resistance to water, alcohol and mild acids, making it suitable for a range of applications, from flooring and doors to furniture. Non-toxic once cured, the finish is safe for food contact and complies with European standards for child safety (EN 71.3).
Dries in about 24 hours at 23°C (73°F) and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperature and/or higher humidity affects drying time. A high-yield finish, it provides an impressive coverage of 95 sq.ft. per 375ml (12.5 fl oz) can.
