The 5" diameter by 3/8" thick multi-hole interface pad is used in combination with hook-and-loop sanding discs for sanding rounded surfaces and contours, with Mirka's net products.
Using the multi-hole interface pad also produces a more consistent and even result. The multi-hole interface pad is placed between the backing pad and the sanding disc.
