86K7836 - Large Wizard 5 Metal Detector
Embedded metal objects can damage edge tools and blades. An especially good choice when working with salvaged lumber, this sensitive detector can also be used to locate metal objects concealed in plaster and plastics.
Used in a sweeping motion, it scans a swath about 6" wide to allow the efficient scanning of full boards, penetrating up to 6" deep.
Upon powering on, the detector automatically tunes. When a metal object is detected, an alert sounds, coupled with a laser line to indicate the object’s general location.
The audio alert and laser line indicator can also be operated independently.
