Easy to install, it fits over common utility light fixtures with a flange up to 4 3/4" in diameter to protect incandescent (100W maximum) or compact fluorescent bulbs up to 5" long. The 5 1/2" dia. by 5 3/4" tall ABS housing is impact resistant, even in frigid temperatures.
Well worth the investment if it spares you the trouble of extracting just one broken bulb stub.
