70G1115 - Toolmaker's Vise
For guitarmakers, modellers and hobbyists, this is an excellent vise for working with small parts.
Milled flat on the sides and base, it can be held squarely in a bench vise or clamped to a machine table, positioned either horizontally or vertically.
The 1 1/2" wide jaws are also milled to hold work squarely, with V-notches in one jaw face for a secure hold on round stock.
The jaw faces can be removed and replaced with custom jaw liners to hold irregular shapes (mounting bolts included).
Cast from high-tensile iron, the vise measures 4 1/8" × 1 1/2" × 1 3/4" tall and weighs just over 1 1/2 lb.
