Formulated specifically for interior woodwork, these easy-to-apply finishes are a stain and a finish in one. Applied in a single coat, they appear translucent; additional coats increase opacity and color saturation. On their own, they produce a sheen between matte and satin and can be top coated for increased sheen and durability. Osmo wood waxes are hard-wearing and have moderate resistance to water, alcohol and mild acids, making them suitable for a range of applications, from flooring and doors to furniture. They are forgiving to apply – a variety of methods can be used without requiring a dust-free environment. Adding extra coats is straightforward with no additional sanding required. Non-toxic once cured, these finishes are safe for food contact.
