This two-seater swing is designed to be suspended from an overhang with joists 48" apart (or equivalent) using a triangular chain suspension that allows you to tailor the positioning angle.
It requires 24 feet of 3/16" chain, chain repair links, lag screw eyes, eye bolts, and flat washers – all readily available at your local hardware/building center.
The full-scale plan includes cutting lists and detailed construction notes, uses standard lumber sizes and is designed with extra bracing for strength and rigidity. Straightforward to build, since all shaped pieces are shown full size on the plan.
