This 36" x 48" plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes and suggested finishing techniques.
The queen-size bed with sculpted legs can be reduced to twin-size or expanded to king-size with a few modifications. The sculpted sections of the headboard and footboard create a feeling of depth and movement, and the mortise and tenon construction assures strength. When complete, the bed measures 78" wide by 43 7/8" high at the headboard and 80" long.
