Description

Well balanced and lightweight for their size, our tools for digging, splitting and transplanting perennials have mid-length handles to make them easy to work with from a kneeling or sitting position.

The spade has a 5" × 5 3/4" long blade with a bevelled edge to penetrate soil easily. The 4 3/4" tines on the fork are slightly curved to let you more easily lever bulbs and root balls out of the earth. The blade and tines are well formed and welded to the tangs; all metal components are stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The beech handles are shaped for comfort and lacquered, and have a ferrule that caps the end grain to prevent swelling or splitting. Each tool is about 24" long overall. Excellent quality.

The spade and fork are also available individually.
