The German firm NWS (Nöthen Werkzeuge Solingen) makes tools that are widely recognized in Europe for exceptional quality, innovation and performance.
These are impressive side-cutters. With induction-hardened jaws, precisely ground double-bevelled cutting edges and comfortable molded handles, they make light work of cutting tough materials. In our tests, the cutting edges showed no significant wear even after hundreds of cuts through hardened steel. The 1" long jaws can make precise cuts nearly flush (within 1/16") to a surface, and their bevelled profile can be used to apply leverage when prying nails.
It is 9 3/4" overall; the long handles permit good leverage to cut fasteners up to 3mm (approx. 1/8") in diameter and hardened wire up to 2mm (approx. 5/64").
