Quantity:
For smaller-scale slab-flattening operations, as well as for rabbeting and slotting, this 1 1/4" diameter, 1/2" shank bit can be used with routers, router sleds and CNC systems.
The double-fluted bit has two cutters that are made of carbide, so they retain their sharp edges through long use. Each cutter is bolt-mounted and sharpened on all four edges, so once it eventually shows signs of wear, it can be loosened and rotated to expose a fresh edge and is easily removed for replacement (spare cutters offered separately).
Effective on wood, wood composites (including MDF) as well as epoxy, acrylic, UHMW and other polymers, the bit permits controlled cutting to a maximum plunge depth of 1/4".
