Founded in 1981, Misenheimer has built its reputation supplying precision tooling to woodworkers, cabinetmakers and CNC operators. Made in the USA from solid carbide and honed on 600x diamond wheels, these bits cut with a continuous shearing action to reduce chatter, leaving crisp, clean edges with minimal tear-out.
Their helical upcut flutes draw chips toward the shank, much like a drill bit, leaving a clean edge on the opposite face of the work while pulling the router and workpiece together to help maintain accuracy. The flutes also clear waste efficiently, allowing faster cuts, reduced heat build-up and prolonged edge life.
Versatile bits for plunging, mortising, grooving, slitting, blind routing and end milling, they are available in seven sizes, with cut diameters ranging from 1/8" to 1/2". The three smallest sizes have 1/4" shanks, the 3/8" bit is shanked to size, and the three largest sizes have 1/2" shanks.
