The optional task light accessory for the Veritas Plunge Base for Rotary Tools mounts on the base to illuminate the bit directly, making it easier to see where you're cutting. The post is angled to aim the light at the cutting line without blocking your view, and can be attached at four different points on the plunge base using a stainless-steel thumbscrew.
The bright LED flashlight attaches to the post with two rare-earth magnets and runs on four button-cell batteries (included). Weighs about 3 oz with a total height of 2".
