Description

Well balanced and lightweight for its size, this fork for transplanting perennials has a mid-length handle to make it easy to work with from a kneeling or sitting position. The 4 3/4" tines are slightly curved to let you more easily lever bulbs and root balls out of the earth.

The tines are well formed and welded to the tang; all metal components are stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The beech handle is shaped for comfort and lacquered, and has a ferrule that caps the end grain to prevent swelling or splitting. The tool is about 24" long overall. Excellent quality.
