Sure to catch the eye of woodworkers and tool buffs, this poster depicts one of the most famous toolboxes in history.

Once displayed at the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History, the mahogany chest of Boston piano maker Henry O. Studley (1838 1925) is remarkable not only for its craftsmanship but for the nearly 300 tools it contains, all meticulously arranged in a case measuring only 10" x 39" x 19 1/2".

This 18" x 26" image is a reprint of a poster originally offered by Fine Woodworking magazine soon after the photo appeared in their July 1988 edition.
